Chios Scuba Diving Adventure Center
Discover the magic of the underwater world of Chios.
Chios Scuba Diving Adventure Center was established in 2021. Our aim is to introduce the magic underwater world of Chios to its residents and everyone who wants to combine their holidays with scuba diving. Moreover, we actively engage in protecting the underwater environment through various initiatives and schemes.
Chios Scuba Diving Adventure Center is part of the biggest and most recognized scuba organization in the world, PADI. Our instructors are experienced divers having over 10000 hours of diving experience, as well as instructor experience, giving the best of their knowledge and experience to their trainees. In our center, anyone can begin their journey as an elementary diver and reach the level of a professional Dive Master.
Alongside our training programs, our center organizes diving escapes where qualified divers can explore the unique underwater world of Chios. The diving excursions are exceptionally prepared and executed with safety being the first priority.

Anagnostou Kostas" loading="lazy">Anagnostou Kostas
InstructorBorn and raised in Chios. One of his greatest passions has always been the sea. He served in the Special Forces and after his military service, he became a professional diver having over 10000 diving hours to date.
He is a PADI Open Water Instructor specializing in night diving, Nitrox, Diver Propulsion Vehicles, deep diving, and underwater photography. He has successfully attended the Athens Kapodistrian University program on professional diving Methods and Techniques. He has also attended Special Training on hyperbaric oxygen training and diving accidents by the University of Thessaly.
He holds an offshore sailing license and a powerboat license.
Kyrithras Vangelis " loading="lazy">Kyrithras Vangelis
InstructorBorn and raised in Chios. He is a professional diver since 1996 having founded a diving crew. He has over 12000 diving hours. He became a CMAS instructor in 2000 and a PADI instructor in 2009. He is specialized in night diving, Nitrox, deep diving, underwater photography, and technical diving.
He has successfully attended the Athens Kapodistrian University program on professional diving Methods and Techniques. He has also attended Special Training on hyperbaric oxygen training and diving accidents by the University of Thessaly.
He holds an offshore sailing license and he is a powerboat license instructor.
Pappas Dimitris" loading="lazy">Pappas Dimitris
Dive MasterBorn and raised in Chios. From a very young age, he got engaged in swimming since his greatest passion is the sea. He is a mechanical engineer, graduated from TEI Thessaloniki and is working in the merchant navy. He has also worked as a professional diver, having more than 3000 diving hours.

Open Water Courses
Open Water Diver is the first level in the PADI certifications where the learner is certified to know how to dive safely up to 18 meters. It can be attended by children from the age of 10 and above. Children aged 10 to 14 are certified as Junior Open Water.

PADI Scuba Diver
It is a sub-program of Open Water Diver in which the trainee is certified to know how to dive up to 12 meters and is always accompanied by an instructor or assistant instructor.

Advance Open Water Diver
The next level for a diver is Advance Open Water. Through the process of 5 specialized dives, the diver gains experience and knowledge which enables him to better enjoy the seabed. The diver learns to dive up to 30 meters (deep dive), underwater navigation and perform three other adventure dives (boat dive, night dive, wreck dive, etc.)

Emergency First Response E.F.R
The Emergency First Response (EFR) program shows you how to react if someone needs help. The Emergency First Response program provides extensive instruction in CPR and first aid, as well as Secondary Care. You will gain the knowledge and skills to respond quickly and confidently when emergency medical care is needed.

Rescue Diver
Rescue Training will take you beyond the purely recreational level of diving, expanding your knowledge and skills to help other divers, handle problems and emergencies, and prevent those problems, leaving you with a sense of safety as diver which cannot be obtained in any other way. Rescue certification is a requirement for all professional diving instructors.
